If you consider making an investment, we can help you to develop and manage your investment strategy. Investment advisory services can either be provided by Align Matters or we can introduce a selection of investment advisors who can be engaged fulltime/part-time by your company.

Advisory services, whether outsourced to Align Matters or provided by an inhouse advisor generally consist of:

Together with advisors, we are constantly looking for investment opportunities in the Netherlands. Asset classes that have our main interest are real estate (commercial and residential) and private equity (direct investments and PE funds). Investments that are approved by our investment committee are introduced to our clients.

There are different options to set-up an investment. An investor can either invest directly, through a fund, a joint-venture company or a special purpose vehicle. We can assist in identifying the option that aligns to your investment strategy and help you with the implementation. From a real estate perspective we can introduce real estate agents, schedule viewings, determine an investment plan, help with the necessary legal process and due diligence for the acquisition and engage a property manager. For private equity investments we will provide an analysis on prospective investments, assist you in negotiations and help with the necessary legal process and due diligence for the acquisition.

Once an investment is completed, we provide or assist the in-house investment advisor with the preparation of periodical reporting packages to update you on the performance of your investments. Upon request, we can furthermore provide corporate secretarial, legal, human resources management and other support services to the corporate investment structure.
